newbie Q's

Just bought my first IROC and i have some Q's guys.
I have done some reading here and on some other boards in an effort to get a baseline grip on what works and what doesn't.
I purchased the car with a siezed bottom end which is not a problem as i have a good motor for a transplant (350).
Wishing to make a few more ponies with the motor WITHOUT getting too carried away or extravagent, i'm looking at using the ZZ4 cam and edelbrock headers/y-pipe and 3" exhaust.
I do not at this time wish to get involved in changing the TPI setup to aftermarket, that will come later as i will build a complete new motor for it.
Will the ZZ4 cam and exhaust i described require any other mods or parts to work CORRECTLY???
The car is auto and has 3.42 gearing
Keep in mind guys, i'm only looking for a decent daily driver not a drag car.

thanks in advance.

mods seem like good choices to me, u might wanna look into a custom chip to get u more out of the cam, some people say u need it, some say it doesnt matter, id do at least some intake mods even if its porting, etc to get the most out of ur setup...

Call A Doctor!

Well, it's official........I'm sick.

Since this post, I have purchased an Edl Base, SLP Runners, 52mm TB and just sent for a complete balanced 383 rotating assembly.

It's a fever I tell ya....I'm innocent!!!

Typically one gets sicks from sustained exposure to less than ideal environment that causes the resistance to lower to the point that a virus gets in. What's your case?

You've identified the medicine, what are your trying to accomplish?

RE

The cure for this sickness I believe is a few eyeball peeling full throttle runs when this thing is finally done.

But, that's just my opinion

I can relate.

There's just something about your whole body being firmly pressed deep into the seat that makes you go,
