305 rotating assembly

my best firnd has a 88tpi 305 block sitting in his garage that he just got for 200. he wants to redo the whole thing top to bottom. as he gets the cash. we are going to start off w/ the rotating assembly.
does anybody make pistons that are anygood for a 305 and how much
what rods do i wanna use, 5.7" or is there others he can choose from
also ive heard of somebody stroking a 305 to a 335. can i just use a 383 crank and drop it in a 305 and if so what else do i need.

the l98 and lb9 share the same rotating assembly the only difference is the weight and piston...PAWmakes a forged 305 piston the whole kit, crank, rods, pistons, oil pump, and all bearings is $750

the same kit but with a 350 forged piston is $565

edit

you have to get the block machined for the 3.75 crank to work,,and still wont come up fast as a 350...you and your buddy do what u want...i was gonna bulid a 305 but i broke the block..so now im looking at 383 and 406 shortblocks
