Fuel pressure regulator

Hello i just got a BBK adjustable fuel pressure regulator. My question is how much pressure i should have in my car. I dont know how much so i cant adjust it yet. Ive heard the number 47 psi sometime but i dont know if thats correct.
Another question is how much more Hp will i gain from it?

you could def do a search for that, in fact it may be one of the topics up top in the sticky that has been asked so many times moderators dont wanna see it anymore but it depends what kinds of mods u have...just raise it by two until u experience negative effects like crazy idling at low rpms and then lower it until the problem is fixed...47 will probably be good but its really diff...i think im at 46 and i am pretty much stock but when i put in my cam im goin up to 52ish so just fool around with it
