Which Of These 2 G.M. Torque Converters Is Best?

If I don't buy a A.C.T. 2200-2400 torque converter ($$$$$), I'm considering buying either one of these G.M torque converters. Either #24202310, known as the S-10 or "L-35" converter, or #24202174, 93 Corvette, I believe. I'm told they both stall around 2100-2200, depending on torque, etc. So, whats the differences, and which is better? I'd think the Corvette t-converter would handle torque better, since the S-10 one is intended for a 4.3 V-6. However, the S-10 is a pick-up application, so its probably strong anyway. Has anyone used either of these, and whats your impression, good / bad? I'm planning on putting one in my 85 IROC TPI 305, mods below. Anybody know this?

I've got the vette one in my car and it seems fine. I don't think you'd have a problem with either one handling power. I've heard Art Carr makes one of the best torque converters, but I wouldn't bother spending the money on it if you're not building a drag car or something.

did you know that you can have your stock convertor re-stalled to around 2800 for about $200? Or I sell 9.5" TCS convertors real cheap any stall up to 3500.
