what things were you trying to get fixed?

Have you checked the connectors for the EST and the MAP? The EST may be disconnected, for a timing adjustment and they forgot to reconnect it. The MAP, not sure what the hell they'd be doing there unless you needed to pull the plenum. Check the electrical connector, and the MAP vacuum tube.

overheating? bad...fans not turning on? coolant switch disconnected? It could also be a messed up ECU.

I did take the plenum out a while back, ported it, put in a new egr valve and a new fuel pressure regulator, but i connected everything back up.

they did have to put in a new distributor, new oil pressure sensor i belive, and a couple other sesnors that are slippin my mind, the fans spin.

I don't know about TAs, but on camaros, the EST is near the passenger side strut mount.

The MAP has a vacuum tube on it's underside. It's a small tube that connects to a nipple on the plenum. Is the MAP electrical connector plugged in? The MAP is located on the passenger side rear of the plenum, on the side.

Once you got that all hooked up, unplug the negative battery cable for a minute or so, or remove the ECM fuse from the fuse box. That'll clear the codes, and start it up again.

I don't know what'll happen if the distributor is off a bit. Someone else may know.

Front of the block, under the IAC, which is on the underside of the throttle body.

well everything seems to be connected, the fan isnt turning on tho, i disconneted the neg side of the battery so i could clear the codes, so when i started the car the engine light wasnt on but my temp was rising fast so the car wasnt on for very long. how long would it have taken for the light to pop back on if there were new codes ?

pretty quick.

How's your coolant level? Open up the radiator cap and take a peak.
