Yeah thats kinda what I was shooting for, I am not looking for it to be a race car. I got my 355 Hot Cam RS for the street stomping. I was looking for good power and to keep the **** off my butt

That's a LOT of power adding mods.
Assuming you get it tuned right
it shouldn't have a problem getting around 250 HP peak to the ground and running bottom 14's like has been said.
You will want to do some work to the heads before you run that camshaft though. They have to be able to physically handle the the valve-lift,
plus why lift the valves so high if there's no port/bowl work at all done to the heads. Head porting yourself is a fairly cheap way to add 20-30 hp with the mods you listed... so why not.

His heads are fine for that cam... stock heads are good up to .480" of lift. As for porting them yourself, unless your really experienced at it, dont expect more than 10 hp.

Well I am not planning on pulling the heads. The lift of the LT4 cam will work with the valve guides without any clearance issues. The stock heads can take up to .500 or more. I just wanted a good strong 305 to get the car around. I have plans for a 406 when I get the time and money for this car.
Thanks

if ur planning on a 406 do u also lan on using those headers-1 5/8" is a lil small for 400+ci. 1 3/4.
i think that cam is a lil big for a 305 w/ no ead work or intake work
