wow, that's a nice setup. You'll be eating LT1's and most LS1's for breakfast with that setup.
3400 sounds like a great deal for everything.

That is a pretty good deal cause by the time you buy parts and pay for machine work and assembly you would be well over that.

My old setup consisted of a new replacement vortec 350 shortblock, SDPC upgraded vortec heads, Hot cam, SDPC vortec TPI intake, SLP runners, Ported plenum, SLP 1 3/4 headers and exhaust, no cat, underdrive pulleys and ram air, 6 speed tranny, 3.73 gears.
It had lots of low end torque and would have really impressed me as a truck motor as I could have probably towed anything up about any mountain in the USA, but in terms of beating an LS1, naaaaaaaa. Maybe a slug or a bad driver. My stock 01 WS6 was about average, not a slug, or a factory freak. It would eat my IROC's lunch and nibble on it's next breakfast. The TPI motor still suffered from the RPM limit's of the long runners. I thought about switching to a RamJet intake or modifying an LT4 intake, but I've decided to go carb. No offense, but I would go 5.0 mustang before putting the long runner TPI back on. Good luck!
