what happened ?

I just got my car running yesterday after a cam swap and all of the other stuff that goes with it. I planned on adjusting the valves but it was just about impossible to hear them tapping because of the open headers. I let it run for about 20 minutes and shut it down and restarted it a couple of times, it ran great and started right back up. I was going to pull it out of the garage so I shut it off while I moved my brother's car out of the way. When I tried to restart it, it wouldnt start. What happened, it was running great, I had to go to work so I could'nt mess with it anymore yesterday, but I guess I will see what happens today, I just dont know why it didnt fire right back up.

I think the car was running way too rich and fouled out the plugs, I pulled one out and it was all black. The new injectors are 24# SVO's and when I had it running I didnt adjust the fuel pressure down and when I checked it today with the vaccum pulled off it went up to around 50. It started up today but when it got hot it didnt want to start back up. I may just get some shorty plugs since I have to take these out anyway.

Sorry about the lack of info, 1990 350 TPI

still wont start
I installed a new cam, timing chain and gears, new pushrods, 1.5 roller tip rockers, new valve springs, 24# SVO injectors, spark plugs, cap and rotor, and headers. I think thats everything, when I started the car the first time(2 days ago)it fired right up once I got the rotor pointed in the right direction. I let it run about 20 minutes, turned it off and restarted it about 4 times, it started right back up with no problem. I turned it off because the exhaust fumes were getting pretty bad in the garage. About 15 minutes later I was going to pull it out of the garage and it would not start, it just cranked over. The next day I did nothing to the car, just turned the key and it started right up. Again I let it run for about 20 minutes, turned it off and restarted a couple times, put it in gear, it stayed running fine. I shut it off again to move another car out of the way so I could pull it out and it would not start again! While it was running this time I turned the fuel pressure down because it was too high. After it would not start I pulled the plugs out and they were all black, I figured this was caused by the fuel pressure being too high and causing it to run rich. I cleaned them and reinstalled them but it still wont start. Any ideas?, maybe the ignition module, not only am I dying to get it running, but I wanted to take it to SLP day next Saturday.PLEASE HELP!

The PROM needs to be recalibrated for the new injectors and cam. Your going to keep fouling plugs with the way the PROM is now.

No amount of fuel pressure decrease is going to "fix" this problem.
