Ok my intake manifold was leaking and i had no power and it was making a whistling noise when i got on it so i got it replaced. my car still has no power after getting it replaced and it still makes the whistling noise that i thought was from the intake manifold but i guess it isn't . My car can hardly spin the tires what could be wrong with it ?? would a fuel filter make my car loose alot of power ?? Or could there be something wrong with my trans or rear ??? What elses should i look for that could be causing the loss of power ???

 

Could be a million things. What has happened between your 14.3 and the power loss? Just change the fuel filter if you even suspect it. Where is the whistling coming from? Was your timing set at? Are there any running problems? Are your air filters obstructed or dirty?

 

HITHERE had HITHERE similar problem, HITHERE couldnt even spin the tires and my car had no power. It turned out being my fuel pump as it was gradually getting worse. For you it could be one of many things. Without driving it and looking at it its really hard to tell.

 

I think the whistling was my water pump because it started leaking antifreeze today i only got it replaced a month ago. Could that water pump made my car loose power since it was messed up ???
