Misfire Problem Solved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Misfire Problem Solved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Un-freakin'-believable! It turned out that the software on my PC that I use to burn chips got corrupted. So I uninstalled the software and erased all of the calibration files. I downloaded the stock chip, re-calibrated that one for my engine and BINGO! Runs like a top now. Idle is smooth as silk (18-19 inHg vacuum) and all the power IS BACK.
Man, this has been going on since last November! What an ordeal. If anything positive came of it, it's that every wiring connection is solid, every sensor has been verified, every ignition part has either been verified or replaced, etc. Hopefully it'll last a long, long time now.
Thanks to everyone who gave input on this.
Now I do the dance of joy...:lala:

:hail: :hail: :hail:
Im glad to hear you got that figured out I know it was buggin you. The only bad thing for me is I thought that our problems may be related but since I have a stock chip I guess that would be impossible. oh well... back to the drawing board.:lala:

Eric, keep posting your updates. With all of the diagnostics that I've done on my system, I know this TPI thing inside and out. I'll keep checking this site and maybe we'll figure yours out too.
