87 iroc w/ 305 tpi?
I've been looking for a 3RDGEN Camaro from quite some time and finally saw one for sale locally today.
Its an 87 IROC with 305 TPI and a 5 speed. Its got rear discs, all power options... new paint. 145mph speedo
Only thing missing is T-Tops... oh well - I can deal with a hard top.
Is this car worth $3000? Its got I believe 150k on the odometer and its got new blue paint - pretty decent.
Opinions are appreciated.

Let me be more specific. Having brand new paint, and a basically flawless interior, would you pay $3000 for an 87 with the mentioned options?
3K? get him down to around 2.5k and i say yout got yourself one hot ride! but its been painted.. i would do a car fax or check for over use of bondo and have someone look at the frame.

doesn't soud too bad, it would be a sweet deal if its all ok. by driving the car will tell u the most about it. the way it handles compared to run down camaros and well mintaned camaros, like wise for the motor how the clutch feels and over all feel of the car. alot of rattles or does it feel like its a solid car.

Only you can be sure of its condition, but if it's got a good body that wasn't just packed full of mud to make the new paint job look good long enough to sell it, and if it's in good running condition and all the stuff works, then $3k is a great price. The problem is that 50 people are going to give you 50 different opinions, and all of those 50 people have a completely different idea of what "nice" is. I've seen people criticize somebody else who paid more for a car, when the truth is the person that paid 50% more got a 200% better car. Value is in the eye of the beholder. There are a lot of cars out there with a maaco paint job and a Parts America motor and just because somebody got one of those for $3k doesn't mean that a $6k car with real paint and a real motor isn't worth every penny.
