Distributor cap woes
How do you guys keep moisture of your caps? This makes the fourth aftermarket one in five years for me! There's no gasket there, so how do you keep moisture out?

I've never had problems with water getting in the distributor cap. Look carefully... is the cap cracked anywhere?

No. There are no cracks anywhere. I haven't physically seen moisture in the cap or anything, but there is corosion on my module bolts and some greenish-buildup on the inside of the cap on the terminals for the wires.

I have the same problem with mine. It all started after I put my cowl hood on. I am going to put a 1/8" to 3/16th hose barb on my cap and have a vaccumm line connect it to the plenum of the HSR. THis way the vaccumm will suck out all the moisture.
