car stumbles between 1000 and 1500 rpms
I'm at loss here. Basically the car hesitates, shakes, and pops when first starting off in 1st, and then just has a really bad hesitation under 1500 rpms in all the other gears.
I changed EGR, TPS, MAT, Cap, Coil, Rotor, Plugs and Wires. Set the timing 6* and TPS .54. Not to mention, cleaning the Throttle Body and checking for vacuum leaks. I don't know what else to look for. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanx.

I had the same problem...just advance the timing to 8*. That cured my problem..did u put in a new fuel filter. if not that would cause it to do that.

well have an update, tried advancing the timing to 8*, the problem got worse, so I backed it off to 4*, same story got worse. I also tried some K&N's and the situation remains. Could an o2 sensor be causing my problem, considering it pops under the car? I haven't checked fuel pressure yet, don't have proper tools yet...

Another update, I worked on it all day yesterday pulling sensors of my black 86 z ( that I know are good ), and putting them in my red 86 z, and I never got anywhere. Well, this morning my dad gets out there and pushes the TPS all the way down and she has never run better. I put in on a scanner and the TPS voltage is anywhere between 2.3 and 2.5 I know this is wrong, but I can't understand why it worked so well, the only problem now is that it idles too fast.
And no, I was going to do that this weekend, but we may have already sold it by then.
