SLP Fully Siamesed Runners are finally done!

And, it already passed CA smog: https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=176138
Testing will be done this Saturday at the local track. First passes will be made on the owner's car. He's gone a best of 12.50 on nitrous, and 13.75 without. I've gone a best of 13.27 @ 106 at that track (2000' altitude vs sea-level track in my sig). I think we'll each be making a few baseline runs and then swapping runners to see the difference.

i fully siamesed mine and got it dyno'ed yesterday. Here is a comparison of the (dyno 14)LT1 cam, ported stock base, stock runners, 86 ECM and 22# injectors versus (dyno 15)ZZ4 cam, Edelbrock base, siamesed SLP runners, 87 ECM and 24# injectors. The peak torque is down because the lt1 cam peaked below 2800 RPM. But past 2800 RPM it has picked up. HP has a gain of 35hp at 5000 RPM. Torque has a gain of 35 ft-lbs at the same 5000 RPM. So, don't just go by peak numbers. Always look at the entire curve.

Holy crap! Only 230 RWHP with a ZZ4 cam and headers? What heads are you running, stock? I made over 280 RWHP with my ZZ4 cam and L98 heads. You've got a mismatched combo somewhere, and my bet would be the larger injectors you dont need. I bet you're losing about 20 HP in it being too rich.

i'm sure it's not mismatched parts. on the dyno we were starting to raise the fuel pressure for the next run when the tranny went. they are L98 iron heads i ported. so is could have scerwed something up there. if you still have your old dyno of that 280 rwhp and list of parts at time, i'd like to see it and compare. my first time porting. getting the fuel pressure set has only ever netted me 7rwhp. for my list of parts, go to www.fl-thirdgen.org/mrr23

This is the last dyno run I have of the ZZ4 engine:
http://para.noid.org/~thresher/image...ze=800&start=0
Here is the dyno of the current engine:
http://para.noid.org/~thresher/dyno.jpg
The first engine was a ZZ4 cam, mild ported L98 heads, SLP 1 5/8" headers, and 1.6/1.5 roller tip rockers.
The current engine is an LT4 HOT cam, more ported L98 heads, SLP 1 3/4" headers, and 1.5/1.5 roller tip rockers, along with my own custom chip.
The engine went from 282 RWHP and 380 RWTQ to 318 RWHP and 419 RWTQ with those changes.
I'm expecting to gain 30 HP or so and lose 30 peak torque, at around 6000 rpms with the new runners.

kevin was that with the t-56? there's about 10% difference right there at least. also like i said my tranny let go. so, now i'm putting a yank 2600 nitrous pro in. so about 3-4 weeks from now, i'll be doing this again. but the graph was pointing out the increase at 5000 rpm versus my stock runners and siamesed base.
#14 is lt1 cam, stock runners, siamesed stock base.
#15 is zz4 cam, slp siamesed runners, and edelbrock base. of course the cam has something to do with the increase. but, the siamesing helped also.

No, my dyno numbers and ET's are with my old T5. I dont have any numbers with the T56 yet, as the last time I went to the track, my posi died.
