I just weighed my '91Z
3400 pounds exactly with me in it and 1/4 tank of gas.
True race weight! That makes me happy. Now we're in vette territory.
I did most of the things on the shedding pounds tech article, except aluminum heads, and headers for dry weight, and roller rockers for rotational weight. So there's easily another 65-70 pounds of dry weight to shed, and a little more rotational weight too. The car still has AC.
It used to weigh 3610 with me and 1/4 tank, and that was without the spare tire and jack.
