Cold Start

New to TPI so any information will be helpful. Just bought a 1989
formula 350. When starting cold engine you have to give it gas
as soon as it starts or it will die. Sometimes you may have to start
car 2 or 3 times before it will keep running on its own. Once started it will fast idle until either time or temp. sensor tells computer to idle motor down. Once motor is warmed up it will
run fine. If you put car in gear before it is warmed up and idled
down it will die. Thanks in advance for any help with this problem.

It's from the v6 world, but you should run through my major tuneup. Only difference between our v6 MPFI's and your v8 TPI is that you have 8 plugs, 8 wires, and 8 injectors; we have 6 of each. Click here for the Major Tuneup.
