Is the screw on the afpr sticking out alot? Maybe you just need to screw it in some more, if that doesn't help you could also grind a little on the bottom of the plenum.

Welcome to the boards!

The problem your having is pretty common. You can try one of 2 things.
1-Screw in the nut until you have enough clearance to put the plenum back on. Start the car and check the fuel pressure... If its around where you want it, or lower, then your good to go.

2- With the screw as high as it can go, if you have too much fuel ressure, then your going to have to cut the screw down some. DO NOT CUT INTO THE PLENUM. The plenum is not very thick so theres no point in doing that.

Good luck!

LOL...
I cut into plenum about a 1/2" to make clearance for AFPR.
No problems.

I too had to grind a slot into my plenum to make the AFRP screw fit. I only had to dimple it, not hog on it.

Don't you love buying parts made for a specfic application that DON'T fit?!? Yeah, me neither...

As you turn the bolt in the pressure will raise, out the pressure will lower.
