Part numbers for PCV hose/routing
I have a breather on my valve cover instead of the air supply from the thottle body. I can't find my original hose, so I've got to buy a new one. The dealer has separate part numbers for 85-87 and 88-up. Anybody know what the difference is? I looked over the hose on my 88 GTA and see no reason why it won't work on my 85. The 85 seems to be multiple parts all put together. I don't recall what the 88 looked like.
Anyway, since there was some serious confusion with the dealer (what else is new) I just want to bring the part numbers to them. I need the widget that goes into the valve cover, and the hose that goes over to the throttle body. Anybody have these part numbers?
EDIT: If anybody is wondering why this is posted in the TPI forum, it's because this hose is specific to the TPI cars, so I figured I had a better shot at getting the right part number.

Not sure about your question, but I was wondering why you are going from the breather back to the TB breather. This seems to put oily air into the throttle body. Not criticizing just curious for discussion's sake. -John

I'm doing it because without it you get a vacuum leak which causes the car to idle like a piece of crap.
There shouldn't be any oil getting back to the throttle body if the PCV valve is doing its job. The air is going to go from the throttle body TO the valve cover, not the other way around.
Does anybody know these part numbers? The diagram from the dealer sucks, and he's of no help at all. I need to know what parts I have to order.

The part # for the 85-87 is 14087409 & is discontinued. The 88-89 # is 10105290 & can still be ordered. It appears to be routed the same, according to the GM catalog.

is that the part number for the actual tube? Do you have the p/n for the piece that sticks into the valve cover by any chance? Thanks.
