best cam for stock L98???

I just bought a 91formula 350 with a turbo350 trans. It needs new valve seals and intake manifold gasket in it....so I figured while I had it apart Id port the heads a little and put a new cam in it.....This car is going to be my daily driver, so I dont want something too big that will affect driveability, just a little better than what it came with. I know the stock TPI intake runs out of steam about 4500, so Id want something to stay in that power range. Im looking for some advice on cam selection to those that have replaced theirs with a basically stock motor.....Should I go with a ZZ4? LT1?....or should I go with a Compucam??(the one they recommend for a stock 350) cant remember the part number Any advice on this would be great. ALso the car already has a complete Hooker exhaust(shortie headers, Catco high flow cats, and hooker catback) Help me...

the ZZ4 will work. But I don't think you want to use the same valve springs over again on a "new" top end.

Both the ZZ4 and Crane Compucam 2032 (pn 104124) are good matches with the stock TPI. The ZZ4 is cheaper, has a shorter duration on the intake, and higher lift on both lobes. You would want to check valve guide to retainer clearance with this one. The lift on the Crane cam is supposed to low enough such that guide to retainer clearance won't be an issue. Wouldn't be a bad idea to check though, if you go Crane.
