Will an '88 plenum work w/'89 TB?

Question is in subject. Is there some difference between the two of these that will not allow them to work together? The rest of my intake is 1989, so the cold start injector will not be used. I've searched the boards extensively, but can't find the answer. Thanks for your help.

I thought it could work, so why are you installing an '88 plenum for the 89?
