the passenger side valve cover bolt is stripped. its the one closest to the interior. what can i do to fix this?

Are you talking about the bolt itself? If so, just get a new bolt.

If you're talking about the hole in the cylinder head, you can get a heli-coil thread repair kit. You basically drill out the bad threads oversize, retap for a heli-coil insert, put the insert in, and viola! A new threaded hole. Just be careful not to drill to deep and end up in the water passages. Just go down to the original bottom of the hole and no deeper!
