plz help w/ runners :(

hey guys,

man, after countless hours of trying to save my SLP's they are pronounced dead. They were waaaaay to modified and the material was fatigued and cracking due to all the welding, reshaping, etc. Anyway, i need to order a new set but am not sure on what to get to best fit my combo (in sig). I COULD port any set, but after all this I just wanna be able to bolt them on and go. My plenum is ported as well as SDPC base. Just from that, the TPIS would seem the way to go, but they are significantly "longer" which might keep my top end HP limited due to rpm's, or the lack of rpm's i should say. Also, SLP sells polished runners which would be nice b/c my plenum is poished along with my old SLP's as well. But the ports are tiny. However, the runner length is shorter=more RPM capability....WHAT TO DO!?!?!

here are some specs from this site:

Runner Type Length (in.) Port (in.)
Stock TPI 7.250 1.470 round
Lingenfelter/Accel 6.625 1.615 round
SLP cast runners 6.625 1.600 round
TPIS large tube 7.625 1.660 round
TPIS siamese large tube 7.625 1.660 round

IIRC, AS&M has semi siamesed runners that might work for you. AS&M runners
