Super Ram G-tech Run

Well I finally made it out for a quick G-tech run...

car runs really well and just smokes them hitting it at 3k in second

its ran a 14.1 @ 109 mph... still cant figure out tuning stuff and the launch .. mph is pretty but probably only 103-4 at the track we've found out with the g-tech

only bad thing is my block heater decided it didnt wanna hang around and blew out the side of the block during the run..

hopefully once everything is tuned and i get a stall and some traction 13s will be there :0

pro topline or pro lightning ... very nice heads, no complaints and they were among the cheapest that i found out there and one of the best flowing out of the box

G-techs are close but don't offer any real MPH or short times. A 14.1 seems bad for a superram/Pro topline combo depending on the cam, you gotta be spinnin horrid 60ft times. I just ordered a set of Pro Topline 180cc last thursday, I hope to see a nice gain from my aluminum L98s.

yeah.. we run the g-tech at the track and its like 4-5 mph slower..

yeah i spin through first when the power hits and into second.. and my chip is probably all wacked out cause my o2s are up in the mid 900s

my cam is a 218/218 w. .541/.541 lift

it needs a stall cause its just useless until 2200

my 60' feels like around a 2.6 right now

I am surprised that your MPH isn't higher. I wouldn't be discouraged just yet though. Get some tuning, a 2200-3000 stall and some sticky tires and see what happens.

Traction will be key for good ET's w/ this combo, b/c when you hook, you'll shoot out of the hole. The top end is ok, but low-end TQ and being able to use it is the strength of this combo.

Yeah it was the first time i ever opened the car up hard so i wasnt expecting the greatest times

Damn BuckeyeROC 1.7 60'... only guys running that at our track are full slicks and total race suspension.. looks like you have everything else added to your Iroc that i need as well... theres always next year though.. im just happy that it runs well enough to get down the street

but whippin ls1s would be a benefit too.. i kept up to my buddies 99 ws6 from a roll and he runs a 13.5 at the track with around 300 rwp so time to start saving for that wideband..
