went 14.6 with my 305 tpi auto
Went to the track for the first time with my 88 transam. My setup is the same as ron mullins setup,305 tpi world heads, slp headers,my cam is a hair bigger 210/220 .480 .480 lift,3.73 gears with 700 r4.I pulled a 2.0 60' and 14.6 at the end.It was 82 freakin degrees out with 80% humidity, not too good for running. By the way i have an lt1 intake all ready to go on and will be doing it in a couple weeks, should have some numbers with it by the end of july. Me and Ron should have some similar numbers we did with the tuned port.I think he went 14.7 with tpi. The intake is really for my next motor but i like to play with this 305.

Not to bad of times. With heads and that big of a cam u should be running a little faster than that I'd think. I ran 14.6 in the heat all last summer with a small LT1 cam, stock heads and 2.73 gears. With the addition of 3.73's and a little bigger LT1 cam, I was able to run 14.2. What mph are you traping at? What timing and Fuel pressure?

nothing, maybe its a 80% humidty i ran a 14.67 with a 1.96 60' time. i have just basic bolt ons, and the dumb stuff, hopelfully i will soon enough have some more cash for a set of headers and a intake. my run was also at mid 70's outside, with a 11% humdity. thats why she was running so good for what she is. afpr, was at 50psi and had a set of et's thati borrowed.
