simple Q's about tpi swap
simple Q's about tpi swap
I have an 84 LG4 I'm planning on swapping to TPI, and I have 3 questions.
Do I need a new fuel pickup in the tank? I'm not sure if I can mount an electric fuel pump to the existing one.
Do I need a new fuel tank? I'm not sure if the carbed cars have any baffling in the tanks.
Can I use the VSS from the LG4? or does TPI use a different part?

I did a tpi conversion on my 82 LG-4, no you cant mount a internal pump to the stock sender, would cost you more than just buying another, go with a external tpi pump, no your stock VSS wont work either, get a cable driven speed sensor from painless
