Going TPI, need suggestions.

well, i just got tpi, and im doing ne mods to it before i put it on my engine. I have a 355, mated up to a 700r4, the heads are nothing special, just old castiron heads, and mild (rv) cam.

im just wondering what i should do to the tpi setup before i put it on.? i have allready began porting the plenum, and i got injectors off of a vette, (24# i think). I am thinking of siamising the base, would this be a good idea. allso, will these changes require major prom reconfiguring. i dont have the necasary equipment to burn them yet, but i plan on getting it soon.

ne other suggestions. allso, could someone please help me with my wiring problem?, i posted it like last week and havent gotten an answer. i need to identify 4 wires, larger gauge on drivers side of harness, 3 red 1 purple. ne ideas? sorry for the long post. thanx in advance.

Hey,

For the wire identification you might have to get a repair manual that has the schematics in the back, that will show the different color wires, other than that I have no idea except just looking at my fuse box to see were they are. When do you plan on doing this?? I will also do some looking around to see if I can find any more info on this.

Someone has to know something on this board!!! Help :hail: lol

Later, Mike

P.S. tell me what you think of this!!!!

Those 4 wires, most likely go like this.... the 1 purple is the 12v ignition power source from the key itself, to the starter. Most likely the other 3 red ones, are the main 12v sources to the ignition and fuse box itself. Are these 4 wires going in by the Master cylinder??? If so then this is what these are.

Siamesing and porting is going to help get the RPM's up a bit, but being that you have a cam and 24#injectors you should be looking into haveing the prom reprogrammed.

I don't myself no, but there are a few on here that are right into prom buring that may be able to help you out, don't worry they'll pop up here for yeah, but do a search on prom burning and it way lead you in the right direction.
