Slight stumble off idle when cold??

My IROC has been acting weird lately. It has developed a cold stumble right off idle plus when you first start it cold it idles really rough and almost wants to die for about 5 seconds then it clears up but still hesitates under part throttle till it warms up. I just did a tuneup on it but it didn't help.

What next?

Can u pull any codes out of it? could be something simple as resetting the iac and tps if they havent been adjusted for awhile, also check your throttle body for coking and if it is clean it out and then reset the tps and iac directions are on the tech pages

No, I didn't get any codes. I'll try what you said and see if it helps. Thanks

Something is wrong in open-loop land. Pehaps you need to re-evaluate your prom.

The fuel filter is old. Hasn't been changed since I bought the car....back in 96 guess it wouldn't hurt to change it. The air filters are new. I'm gonna work on it tonite. I'll pull the throttle body, clean the iac and ajust it and the tps and reset the computer and see if that helps.... oh and put my chip back in since I finally passed emissions

fuel filter would be a costant problem, would not clear up in closed loop. If i was going to guess i would say vacuum leak. but
thats just a guess. with out the right dianostic tools all anyone on here really has is just a guess. good luck

My bad, didn;t notice the closed loop detail. You still definately need to change the fuel filter though.
