A.I.R. removal ?'s

has anybody done this, i searched the archives and found nothing. i am not concerned about the pump. just the rest of the system, is there thing i need to block off ???. do i need to fool the ECM.

One of the lines on the AIR tubes goes to your cat(s). If you just unhook all the hoses and put a plug in it you'll be fine. no need to "trick" the ecm.

I just left mine open and have experienced no ill effects. What's the purpose of plugging? To stop a slight exhaust leak?

search for "smog pump", "smog", "air pump", etc. People don't usually type out A.I.R. with the periods. I think enough posts will come up in your search. You'll prolly even find a few posts on the topic by yours truely

yah that's why i plugged them. jus makin sure i wasn't gunna have an exhaust leak.
