Ok, I bought an '87 Trans Am with the 305 TPI for $500 because it wouldn't start. The guy has replaced the plugs, wires, distributor, computer, coil, alternator, and I think the TPS. When you turn it over it's getting fire, but it won't hit to start. We threw a little gas in the throttle body and the car hit like it was gonna start.

Does anyone have any ideas why it won't start?

 

check for injector pulse and fuel pressure.if your giving if fuel and it fires its probly not getting any.eric
