Will afr 190's work with HSR?

I would like to get HSR and bolt some heads to it, I was just wondering if afr's 190's will work. I also want to know what it would take to put HSR on a TPI...can I just buy the manifold and fuel rails, and not have to worry about the whole system???

ok, for starters, the AFR heads will work fine with a HSR because i don't think the HSR uses either of the new intake bolt patterns, I'm not real big on fuel injection stuff, but i think you have to change a fair amount more than just the manifold/rails

Yeah all you'll need is the intake manifold and the fuel rails. You might need something else, but I'm pretty sure it'll be minor. I'm sure someone lists all the stuff you need, try to search.

umm... the HSR has standard bolt pattern, not vortec... HSR and AFR190's should go together fine. and HSR on TPI? how would one do that? Umm you need the fuel rails, get the AFPR, plenum, intake, and you can reuse the tb and the EFI set up. it is NOT emissions legal.. .just a reminder.

I don't care about emmissons at all...I'm taking my cat off my exhaust......So pretty much you just get the HSR, and don't need the system......well thats good, and lots cheaper...But would you recomend AFR 190's along with the HSR????

HSR is an excellent match to the AFR190cc heads, especially if the cam you choose has at least 216 or MORE intake duration and your useing a free flow exhaust and headers that let the system as a combo use that better airflow

What size heads would you guys recommend for a 406ci with the HSR. I've seen 383 motors with 190cc afrs produce outstanding numbers...seems they would be restrictive on a 406?

there are several good set of heads. Depends on if you want to go iron or aluminum? and that depends really on your compression ratio.
