Pics of modified shrader valve for HSR

The title says it all. I am not sure what anyone else did, probably made the one that comes in the kit work. The only reason I went this way is because my fuel pressure test guage only has one size valve it will screw onto. After trying a few other options, this seemed my best shot. Seems to work just fine and it was very inexpensive to do. Heres a couple of pics. I apologize for the picture quality...

Im running 2 fuel pressure gauges of my HSR rails. I have one plumbed into the back of the drivers side rail. the gauge is mounted in my cowl of my hood. I think I used a -6AN to -4AN adatper in place of the plug. I also have a rail mounted gauge from Accel mounted on the fron of the passenger rail where one belongs. I had to use an apdtaer there also to get the tread size the same as the gauge. It looks good and I can tune the fuel pressure a lot easier with 2 gauges. Sorry no pics.

PS I got my fittings at a hose supplier store

Sounds like a good idea. I went this way because I don't see a need for a permanent guage mounted right now. Maybe once I get the 'charger, I'll put a fuel pressure guage in the cockpit. We'll see though once that happens!!

PS. Good luck with your motor swap
