350 into 383...?

If I get a 383 stoker kit (bump the 350 to 383), do I have to modify the timing. Or will the stock timing be okay.

I live in California. So, do you think I'll pass emissions with a 383 stroker kit?

A 383 uses a 3.75" stroke so the piston speed increases and the required timing advance is just a little bit less, but no big deal.

Yeah as long as your stroker kit is still packed in the box it came in you'll be okay.

It'll smog okay depending on the cam and how the chip is tuned. Stock cam and chip setup for 383 and bigger injectors should pass no problem. But who runs a stock cam?
