I honestly don't see how that's possible. Maybe if they were clearance, but not if its labeled "NEW PRODUCT!"
I think the price has to be mistyped, or the description is mis-typed and its the price for ONE. I mean, come on - TPIS has decent injectors in the $70 a piece range, I find it hard to believe SLP will give us EIGHT good ones for $100.

or maybe they are LS1 take outs.
they arn't brand new, they are a tae off like the zexel posi that they sell. also tgheres nothing wrong withthem
when they say " new product" it means thats its anew product for them to sell- not that they are new.

I ordered a set as well. IF for some odd reason, there was a typo in the site, then SLP has to sell them for thr price advertised. ITs the law. I saved the credit card receipt sent to my email showing the price for 8 injectors. I may have them sent out to be flow tested. Just a thought though
yah i think i am going to have them flow tested too. Yah i am definately saving my receipt. I couldnt believe that price! I just hope that are what they say....i know slp likes to mess things up.
mine should be here by next monday! i wish it was sooner since my car wont stay running on its own as of this morning.
i am pretty sure the injectors finally died.
oh hey bottled. that is one sic car. that is the goal of my car too. RS ground effects, 91-92 z28 spoiler, and a phat cowl hood. nice car man, i envy joo!!!
:hail:
*edit* hey you got any numbers for that car? track or hp?

I just got mine in today. I have to go pick them up at my mothers house tomorrow. Im hoping they have new O rings on them though. If not then maybe Ill send them out to Cruzin Perforname for a flow test and O rings. Anyone deal with them or here good reviews
I emailed SLP to find out a little more about them....and here is the response:
Oh, and i am getting the Edelbrock base next friday!
Josh,
Thank you for your order with SLP Performance Parts via our on-line internet ordering system.
The fuel injectors are straight from General Motors, SLP does not flow match them like our part# 23049.
However, since they are brand new GM injectors they should be good to go, I do "not" believe they flow match them.
Sincerely,
Kevin Woodruff @ SLP Performance Parts

This is cool! does anyone have any on the car running yet? I'm still considering these if my car still doesn't want to start with accel injectors.
quick ?
Does anyone know if these injectors will work on a stock TPI engine.Hasnt been bored over or anthing just got it running again and i think my injectors are leaking down after i shut down the engine.
I got my injectors Friday and did a little "googleing" with the numbers on them. Here's what I found out.
1) These are LS1 injectors
2) they flow 25 lb/hr @ 3 Bar which is 40 PSI
3) Other places are selling the same injectors (used pulls) for $200, $25 each http://www.racetronix.com/Racetronix...12561462R.html And they don't list the correct flow #'s
4) everyone loves these injectors
5) We got one hell of a deal!!
Bye, Bye Multec's ...Hello Bosch!

LS1 injectors are rated at 56 PSI! TPI cars run at 42 PSI. That means they will flow 21.6 lb/hr at 42 psi. Unless I completely over looked something that seems to be the case

I thought 3-Bar was 42psi?
Gonna have to search and see.
EDIT:
I found this conversion sheet:
http://www.chromatography.co.uk/Tech...r/Pressure.htm
Says 3bar is equal to 44psi..so if they're saying the injectors are rated at 25lb/hr at 3 bar, should be comparable to what we run our pressures at.

i would jump on this deal but 25 lbs is just too much for my motor, especially when i'm running ridiculously rich at WOT. an AFPR can only compensate for so much. and i have no access to PROM burning equipment right now.

Yes and no. You'd need a "custom" prom to reflect the larger injector.
So If ive been reading right you can put smaller lbs injectors in and bump up the pressure but you cant put bigger injectors in and turn down the pressure.Im just curious cause my injectors are stock been sitting for a while and now when i go to start the car it is very hard i have to open up throttle plates and feather it like a carb.I checked to make sure by pinching both supply and return lines and pressure drops about 2psi every three or four minutes.thanx
well, my car was broke down while i was waiting for the new injectors to get here, but i went out and bought a bottle of that Lucas fuel cleaner, poured it in the tank, started the car up and held the rpm's up for a little while, and now its staying running again. i even took it out and raced all night saturday. thank you lucas!
my injectors get here wednesday!
*Edit*
Hey thanx for the info Morley. I will be puttin these on my stock promed iroc next week sometime. anyone wanna burn me a prom?
lol

A custom prom is really the only way to make sure you have things set right.
suggestion please
Ok then ill gladly accept any suggestions for injectors!
I have a 91 l98 stock, stock prom, only thing done is headers and true duals not looking foward to any drag racing mods just drive and enjoy.Stock replacement from the dealer are way to much $$$$.svo's or accels are probably the cheapest i think but not sure what ones to get.$$$$ is a big part thats why i thought i could pick up these from slp.If i sent them away to be cleaned would they be able to fix any problems with them maybe thats an option but it has to work??
thanx

Well, you have a 91 which used Multec injectors, they are garbage, so new injectors would be a good idea (Cruzin Performance won't touch those injectors)
$100 for the new injectors, $35 for Craig's prom adaptor and $6 for the 29C256 prom chip or $230 for other new injectors, you'd be money ahead going with the SLP offering. All you'd need is someone to burn you a stock chip with a 25# injector constant (which I could do for $6, the cost of shipping the chip to you). Then if/when you do more mods to your engine you'd already have the chip adaptor and chip for custom prom burning.
I'm going to be putting these same injectors in my 91 'bird this coming weekend and burning the chip, I'll probably play with the injector constant to get it just right and will post the final results (constant that works best). This is on a stock engined car so any mods that someone might have could skew their results using my best constant setting.

thanx for the helping hand!im real interested but maybe i better email you with all my info this engine isnt in a camaro!im swapping it into an 86 blazer.where r u located this might be harder than i thought.
Thanx again

I live in Georgia, so a trip to or from Philli is out.
As far as burning a chip for someone else's car, I would only do a stock chip with small changes, ie injector constant change, VATS disable, EGR disable, etc.
If I can't drive the car and data log it there is no way I could burn a proper chip for a modified engine.
One thing I absolutely won't do is remove the speed limiter on a chip, it was put there for a good reason, liability. Without speed rated tires it is asking for trouble and I have no way to prove that someone put speed rated tires on a car that didn't come with them.

Morley one more ? I emailed rich at cruzin and he said my injectors are from an 87-88 and he has very good luck with them.In your opinion would you stay with same injectors cleaned or buy new ones get a chip burned and take that chance?Im planning no mods except a CAI and all i have now is headers and duals.Im new to all this and really just looking for reliabilty.

That said, evaluate the costs...$10/injector for cleaning and flow-matching ($80) or $99 for brand stinking new ones.
