Car problems again. Won't stay running.
Ok, so lately the car has been acting a lil weird. Sometimes when i would start the car, it would start up, but idle reeeaaallly low. Like normally i can hear the car just fine while it's idling. but sometimes it just idles so quiet that i can barely tell it's running.
So this morning i go out to go to work, i start the car, it's idling REALLY low, then stumbles and dies. I tried to start it back up several times, but it just dies if i let it idle. If i give it gas, it revs just fine, and sounds good, but dies at idle.
Now my first guess is that it is my fuel injectors. I have had 3 of the 8 replaced about 2 years ago, and they shop told me there were a couple other injectors that were clogged and dying. Unfortunately i didn't have the money to fix them then, but the car has been doing great till now.
Well, i just wanted some other ideas. I already ordered the new injectors from SLP, #25's, and they should be here by Monday. Anyone else agree that this sounds like injectors? Thanks for the help.

Goto the main page, click on Technical articles on the left, then under the Carbs/FI category, you'll find the IAC and TPS adjustment article.

well when those died, the car started stumbling a little bit. I pulled over, and the car died. I started it back up, and it seemed ok so i tried to get it home. After about 2 blocks, the car died and won't not fire back up. Just turned over n over n over. Mind you, this was 3 days after i bought the car. I think it wasn't used to my driving.
So i finally had it towed to the shop (a chevy dealer
) and they charged me 917.80 to change 3 injectors!!!
Yah i thought it would have been impossible for me to change them...i knew nothing about my car then.
