Cold air and Ram Air?
This is just something I was thinking of the other day and not sure if it would work or what it would do so I figured I would post it here and see what I get for feed back. What would happen if you had a Cold Air Induction system on the car as well as a Ram Air setup as well? Have the cold air running to the side like they do and have the ram air come up from underneith. It would have to be custom fabricated having the main part that goes into the throttle body split into two pieces, one going down( or something like that to get the ram air under the car ) and one going to the side of the car. I have heard that the cold air is better for the car to give it more HP and ram air works well as long as you are going fast. So if you put both of them together, you would have the cold air power right off and the ram air power once you got the speed. Maybe have some sort of butterfly in the ram air tube so it doesn't open up until you are over 3/4 open on the throttle or something like the nitrous switch that doesn't operate until you slam on the gas. Like I said, this is just an idea I had the other day and I don't know if it would even work like I think it would. Please post any opinions about this and if any one has done it let me know how it worked.
