Anybody used a Stealthram with a stock Speed Density PROM?

I know that with a title like that, I'm just asking to get flamed. However, let me say that I know its not gonna be optimal and I will PROM-tune it when I get a chance (lack of $$), so that stuff does not need to be said to me.

I'm just wondering how it worked out with just the stock chip (Speed Density only!) during the meantime, because I'm going to need to sell off my TPI to recoup the some of the cost of the Stealthram. Obviously, this means it will have to be on my motor, so I'd just like to know what to expect. The motor is stock other than that....stock cam and heads with headers/catback.

Thanks, and no flames please!

Did it on a friends car. Part Throttle was OK, but WOT was a little lean. Gain 1 1/2mph and 1 tenth in the 1/4. Put some fuel in the WOT and picked up another 1 1/2 mph and two full tenths.

It will work, just not much gain with the loss of torque low and not enough fuel up top.

Yeah I'm not really expecting gains, just wondering how it runs til I can get it tuned. How's it idle and throttle response?

Idle was fine, throttle response was softer(not as good as with TPI)
