Not your everyday estimation
So - ever since I got my transmission rebuilt up a little, the governor has allowed WOT shifts too high. For instance, the one I notice most is 2nd to 3rd, because it is shifting at about 6100rpm. So, in the near future I am bringing the car into a shop to have the B&M governor recal kit installed, and they will take care of all the necessary trial and error to achieve 5500rpm WOT shifts. About how much ET do you guys think I am losing currently or how much time do you guys think I will gain after adjustment? I was figuring b/w 2 and 4 tenths of a second.

Hehehe - ok yeah, good point.
What I am aiming to clarify here, is since the TPIs powerband basically is useless anywhere above 5500 rpm, and if the transmission is pulling the engine up to 6100rpm, I am going to see gains once I get it to shift at 5500rpm. Undeniably correct, no?
