Can i bolt up a 305 tpi set up to my 305 tbi set up i know i need a fuel pump and a ecm and wirring harrness but what elese will i need beside the tpi plenum/runners/base/Throttle body/

anything else?

 

Throttle cable, air filtration and intake ducting, fuel hoses, injectors, MAF/MAP sensor, coolant temp sensor (maybe), trans TV cable if you have an auto, that's about all that comes to mind...there's an article on it in the Tech Articles section.

PS: you're still going to get spanked by the Mazda/Honda/VW kids.

 

actually i beat a vw sirrocco and a black vw 4 door with intake and a exhaust and a honda civic with intake full exhaust and rims and carbon fiber hood.Also beat a supercharged caviler.

 

you know i really dont care since ive only spent about 10 dollars on modifications on my car so i laugh at them .

 

yea, plopping a stock 305 TPI in there will run ok.... wont be as fast as the TPI305 cars because the heads, cam and possibly the exhaust are diffrent......



just think everything thru so that you dont forget anything..... when you say "and all the sensors" or some other grouping like that, THATS when you forget stuff.

other then the obvious (another grouping )

you need
throttle and TV cables
TPI air cleaner/intake assembly
diffrent soft fuel lines
new vac line tubing

 

That's like bragging about beating up a little old lady.
