Won't start in the rain???
My car wouldn't start the other night after work in the rain. I came back the next day in the sunshine and it fired right up. It does runs fine in dry heat but very poorly when it's damp outside. Obviously there is a fault in my ignition somewhere. Anyone have any ideas?

Ooh - check for any faults in the wires, up near the boots, and all along thier lengths back to the boots on the distributor. Make sure the plenum extension is covering the distributor snugly, tho I couldn't imagine why it wouldnt. Take a look at the remote coil too, that might be incurring some moisture. I guess a good way to test this is to wash your car and then take a look, as that would be like rain. Clean car too =D

Pull the cap and check for moisture. If it's getting wet, even from just condensation, the terminals will be white. I had a cracked cap replaced just recently... it was brand new, but I over tightened one of the screws and put a hairline crack in the side of the cap. The car started poping and sputtering any time it was wet outside. Checked the cap... sure enough, white terminals, then I saw the crack. Another new cap and it was 100%.
