plug gapping ?

plug gapping ?

i bought the ac delco rapid fire plugs are those any good and they gap at .035 but i here you can gap them at .045 what exactly does that do? does it give you more horses burn more gas?

Your stock gap should be fine. The only time you really want to increase the gap is when you are running a better ignition system. Wire, coil, and a box(msd, accel, Jacobs, etc.) At least that's what they always say in their instuctions.

yeah i keep the stock gapping on the a/c delco rapidfires when i did my tune up, seem to work great.
