MAF ? and Cold air Kit ?

I have a 87 GTA 5.7 TPI and the mass air sensor is bad and i wanted to know what a good replacement would be aftermarket or stock ? my old maf is a Bosch ....also what kind of K&N filter cold air kit do you guys run on thes cars ? my car is totaly 100% stock

Do a seach on Wells MAF. Off the top of my head I think is a SU-145.

I'm going to buy the Wells MAF thanks for the info but i still need some advice on the some type of cold air kit ...whats the difference between my 87 and the 88-89 GTAs ? the location of the maf sensor ? and where's a good place to buy perf TPI parts from ?

No not the TTA ..but i would sell my 87 GTA hardtop 5.7 car and its all stock too

the difference between the 87 & 88-89 GTA's is the V-belt system. 88-89 got Serpentine belts. This forced Pontiac to use a very restrictive intake setup.

If you go with the SLP kit - you'll need all of the duct pieces. However, if you can find a wrecked 88-89 GTA or TA with the filtration setup intact - take it. Then all you have to buy is the SLP box on the end of the ductwork. All of the ductwork they sell that connects the box to the plenum is the same as stock.
