i need the specs on lb9 heads
hey i have aset of lb9 heads 5.0 tpi heads and i wanna to know the specs on the vavles?and cc?exc?and what are thespecs on the lo3 heads 5.0 tbi?i going to do this swap and i ned to know
Um the LB9 heads are 58cc heads, 160 intake(i think?), dunno exhaust, Valves are 1.84/1.5. Dont know about the springs.
L03 heads suck and if you had a set of LB9 heads on you, i sugest porting them and swaping them on for a cheap fix.

thr LB9 heads will give ya alot over those LO3 heads, port them and give those heads some 1.94" valves w/ some new spring and you'll pick up a nice amount of ponies.

maybe 15hp w/ no mods to them at all. if ya do a little bit of porting, the new valves and the rebuild your looking at around 25hp
so my guess is being somewhere around 225hp w/ mos bolts too. but i'm reall only a TI guy so i'm not saying that i'm exactly right.

erm, forgot about the iron vs aluminum thing
:lala: yeah... the small chamber on the lb9 heads might not work to well for higher compression... thats why GM went with aluminum for the vette heads... I can only think...Im not sure. Sounds logical.
