Mechanical Fuel Gauge (outside mount) question

OK....I bought a 2 1/6 phantom gauge that I'm going to be installing so I can see my fuel pressure under the hood. And I'll also be getting a holley adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Anyhow....the fuel line I bought from summit came with several fittings....but they will not fit the back of my gauge. But the actual fuel line has a fitting already on it..and it fits the gauge fine. My question is....am I going to have to get another fitting so I can connect the fuel line safely or can I just use the fitting that came on the fuel line....(because it fits fine then) Here are a few pictures of what I'm talking about....

it fits fine is this picture

I Auto meter fuel pressure gauge was already setup to use a - 6AN braided line. WHat style do yo uhave? You dont want to make a bunch of connections on your line. its just more places for a potenial leak

I bought part number ATM-3227 at Summit racing. It says it's a
-4AN, it fit fine on the gauge....isn't the shrader valve a -4AN also??

I'm a little confused as to what the problem is. You don't need the 90* bend off of the gauge, and if the hose's default fitting size fits the gauge, then you're set. More fittings =

So basically; what ends is the hose equipped with?
Does it connect properly to the guage without additional fittings?
Does it connect properly to the fuel rail without additional fittings?

yes, it fits fine with no fittings, but in the picture up above, it said to use a fitting if I'm going to mount the gauge in a cup. I'm not sure if it fits the fuel rail or not, but it should....because it's a -4AN size....and the fitting on my fuel hoes is also a -4AN. I think everything will be fine though...like you guys said, they less fittings, the better
