Since the transmission lost 3rd gear, and a Stealthram is going on along with a new converter and a rebuilt 700R4, i figured i would take it to the track and see what happens to it!

Well long story short, I pulled a 2.3 60' time, and Ran a 14.4 @ 93MPH in second gear with it locked up.
My 1/8 mile was 78MPH and 9.3 by the 1000 i was almost hitting the rev limiter and pulling a 12.08 shortly thereafter my 2nd gear ended and i just held onto it for the remainder of the track

I ran again and had tire spin; 2.8 60' 1/8 was 10.5@76 1/4 was 15.6@93MPH which is the end of 2nd gear of course.

I felt that if i could have shifted it would have pulled a 13 out of the hat on the first run. i also lost 4* of timing from false knock retard and a slipping tranny in first gear.

now i replace suspension
rebuild tranny
3000 Sconverter
3.73 gears and posi

then we will see what happens with the TPI. then ill put in the solid roller and the stealthram and see what happens too;

then bolt on the D1-SC and crank up the boost and see what happens!

sounds like me 2 years ago....lost 3rd gear, so i decided just to see how much abouse 1 and 2 could take.
A few 10.19's in the 1/8th, and it was a gonner.
there's just something satisfying about seeing exactly how much you can abuse your car before it breaks.:lala:
