Jet Chip or not...........?
Right now all I have done to my car is new ignition parts, airfoil and a catback exhaust.
Come spring it will have headers, new 3" y pipe, and a afpr.
Now I got a free jetchip (Stage 2) from the previous owner. I never installed it though, you think it would be worth installing? I mean I did get it for free...
Also I have a manual fan switch, would the chip maybe turn my fans on a bit earlier?
Thanks

Since you have it for free, go the the drag strip with both your stock chip and the JET one. Make a pass with each and try to be as consistant as possible. I want to know what happens. I ask because many people have put in Hypercrap chips and slowed down. Maybe JET is the same...
It only controls the primary fan, secondary fan has thermal switch in the head...
