stealthram and FASTBURN heads?

ok, i'm looking to put the stealthram on my engine buildup, i've decided on the fastburn heads, but can't get an answer on the stealthram being compatible or not, i went to stealthram.com and it said it's not,, but in the gmpp catalog it says it accepts standard or vortec style manifolds, so i'm not sure, has anyone seen this combination? or does anybody know why it will or won't work for sure? port shape? location? thanks

The fastburn heads have holes for both standard intake bolt locations and vortecs, this is a nice option. With the HSR and Fast burn heads, and the right cam and exhaust combo, you can make 400 hp.

yes it will bolt on. but, the intake ports on the fastburn heads are raised upward by 1 tenth of an inch. that's where the problem comes in. the ports will be offset. you'll end up with vacuum leaks and oil being sucked into the heads because of it. right now doug flynn is getting a feel here to see if there would be a market to make a vortec base HSR.

if you had an LT4 intake, you could send it off to www.lt1intake.com and have it converted to use on the fastburn heads.

here's a pic from www.lt1intake.com showing the problem.

Vortec/Fastburn intake runners are as tall as a Felpro 1206 and as wide as a 1204 with a slight taper in width as cast. The intake port of a HSR is a near perfect match for a 1205 out of the box, width and height.

It will bolt up but NOT be a match made in heaven.
