Got my heads....got some Q's.....
......ok so I picked up a donor set of 416 heads last night....14014416 is the full casting #. Here is what i plan on doing to the 305:
*Send out heads, have them pressure tested/magnafluxed/acid dipped to clean them/decked(if necessary)
*New springs/valves
*Port/polish, gasket match, etc
On top of that, I will be adding the following to the motor:
*Summit Cam/Lifter part #SUM-K1102 (262/int, 272/ex)
*Hooker 2055's
*SLP Runners
*58mm Throttle Body
*POSSIBLY all new MSD parts instead of keeping the Accel Stuff
*Entertaining the idea of SVO injectors
So i have the following questions:
*Is it reccomended that I touch the intake ports at all on the intake itself and/or the heads?
*Good idea to have the shop mill the heads a bit to give more compression?
*Since I'll have a full exhaust after the headers, I'm just wondering what kind of power I should be making roughly HP wise....
Thanks everyone...

If you're going that route, then do ALL the above except, get a 52mm TB instead of a 58mm. Port-match the intake to the heads, and portmatch the plenum to runners and 52mm TB. Gut air box too. I'll have ram-air boxes available for purchase soon. They will be just like mine, only the new ones will be made out of ABS plastic.
Here's a pic of my metal boxes:

What kind of power should I expect from doing all this?

I would estimate about 250 - 260 at the rear wheels (provided you have the PROM tuned correctly for the changes), AND a butt-load of torque!
You will notice a decent increase.
