Injector Timing & Shift Points

As I understand TPI, the injectors recieve pulses from the computer. The pulse rate changes as the engine revs and the transmission shifts gears.

I recently had the transmission rebuilt in this car, and now the problem is this. The engine seems to shift gears before the transmission does. The reason I say this is that I can feel the engine change it's rpms before I feel the next higher gear engage. Also, when you want to downshift to passing gear, it requires a considerable amount more pedal, and the engine bogs down for a half-second before the gears shift.

This wasn't the case with my old transmission. It seemed it perfect sync and pulled very strong. Now it seems like I've lost power because something is getting the wrong signal or is out of adjustment.

Someone help! I can't get an honest opinion out of a mechanic around here, and I'm exhasperated.

adjust your TV cable. Do a search on how to do it.

It's very important this is properly adjusted and very easy to do
