Find a cover for the pass. side strut. A wire separator kit with or without a braket for you plug wires will help a lot. If you can get rid of the air pump you will also clean things up when you get rid of the diverter valve. Some corrugated wire loom perhaps. Just try to run the cables and everytnihg in the most organized way. And give the engine bay a good clean up with some degreaser and water.

Yes, what he said... get those rambling plug wires organized! :nono:

But I'm not sure you wanna take off that air pump and stuff if you wanna stay legal.

And how about a new hose to make that throttle body coolant bypass a little more attractive or less noticeable.

Get to work!!!

Does the AC work? If not, rip that ****e out of there. That would clear up a lot of space. You could take Petes advice and go carb and send me that intake. Other than what Firebreather suggested there's not a lot that could be done. There just isn't a lot of space under the hood of these cars.

get rid of ac, get rid of the heater box, get rid of cruize control, charkoal cannister, get rid of ecm, get a carb, get rid of emmisions, now, whata difference, i just did that to my Camaro, but i opted for a new motor not just a carb...

I think the biggest problem is that supersized aluminum box you've got sitting in the middle of the engine bay. Take that off and ship it to me, that will make worlds of difference!

It's amazing the difference just a good set of wire looms and elimination of the AIR systems will make. You could also look into different heater hose routing to keep them from running directly over the valve cover.

I like all the suggestions so far. I try to make it a point to give the engine bay a detailing of sorts every time I wash my car. Of course, I'm pretty lazy and don't do it like I want to, but making it a routine helps a lot.

A nice cold air intake would look alot better than the stock routing... not necessarily smaller, but it looks CLEAN.

I noticed one of the carb guys already had, but you can also take out the heater bypass valve. I'd say do a cold air intake, but it appears that you already have an slp cold air intake. Removing AIR is a must just for the extra space.
