what do you guys think?

Hey guys!!!

I am on a tight budget all of the time and that gets frustrating when you have to constantly teardown and put back together.
Anyways I have decided to go with the HSR and i like it all ready even on top of the STOCK ewwww L98 heads and cam and manifolds. The shift point has moved up to 5200 - 5400 RPM
And i can feel the potetial that this Manifold will have. I unforutnatly have to drive it daily right now which cuts into working on the car over a period of time. The unexpected self destruction that my other car undergone ment that i couldnt take my time and do everything that i wanted to right now. Either way here are my work in progress pictures, mods, and soon to be mods. Please tell me what you think.

1987 Formula 350 TPI

Current Mods:

HSR Manifold
Modified 89 ARAP Prom
30lb accell Injectors
52mm Holley Throttle Body
1.6 Comp cam Stamped Roller tip Rockers (FREE)
Coolent Bypass Mod
A/C Delete
Smog delete
Converter delete
Custom (work in progress) air intake
Rebuilt 700r4 trans cant remeber what stall
B&M megashifter
B&M stage two shift kit
Flowmast Muffler

Hopefully in the near future mods:

AFR 195 heads
Still thinking about Cam
Headers
Subframe connectors
And lots of custom prom burning

Wonderbar and lower control arms to be installed next weekend

I do have a question for everyone, If i should stick with cutom prom burning (amature) Or go with a holley commander type setup.

Please let me know what you think and remeber it is work in progress.

Any suggestions would be greetly apreciated

I think you should replace the coolant resivour, it looks like crap. They are $11.00 from the dealer.

If your strapped for cash, then I would definatley stay with the amature burning style... its effictive and relativley cheap to do compared to an aftermarked FI system.

As for mods, the absolute NEXT thing you NEEEEEEEED is headers. Your engine is constipated now... its taking all this good fuel and air in, but cant get it out. Youll notice a MAJOR increase with just headers alone!

Cannot agree more. Bite the bullet and get longtubes, they will do the job better than shorties. Even with stock heads/cam, a proper tune (not ARAP) and that car will scream.

Longtubes? arent they going to hang lower than stock and loose ground clearance if not i would be interested in which ones are going to be best for me. And how big of difference is there in the longs compared to the shorts.

I'm sorry, I made a mistake - I meant 1 & 3/4. Shortie style 1 3/4 O.D. headers.
